AD Architects is a design-led architectural practice based in Donabate, North County Dublin, founded by Aaron Dunne MRIAI in 2023. The practice works across a range of residential and commercial projects, including extensions, renovations, one-off houses and change of use developments. Featured Project: Seaverge
Seaverge is a residential renovation and extension project located in Corballis, Donabate, Co. Dublin, completed in 2025. The project involved the transformation of an existing property into a contemporary four-bedroom A-rated home designed to better suit modern family living. The design combines clean architectural detailing with practical upgrades, creating a more open, energy-efficient and light-filled living environment throughout the house.
The architectural approach focused on delivering a contemporary appearance while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding setting. Materials including slate roofing, white and black render finishes and large glazed openings were used to create a clean and modern exterior. The project also incorporates a glazed balcony and carefully positioned windows designed to maximise natural light and improve the relationship between internal living spaces and the surrounding views.
